Dear Association Leaders and Friends,
We all feel very proud that on Oct 8, 2011, with the help from both Chicago Chinese Community and Mainstream Society, we successfully organized a magnificent “ Xinhai Chinese Revolution Centennial Parade”. Many thanks to the associations and companies that contributed the floats, many thanks to the co-chairs that offered generous sponsorship, many thanks to the associations that organized marching groups, many thanks to the student associations for the volunteer work, many thanks to media for the promotion, also special thanks to the Consulate-General of China in Chicago for the strong support, and special thanks to the Chicago Chinatown Special Events Committee for all the hard works.
Xinhai revolution put China on the road for progress. Chicago Chinese Community offered strong support to Xinhai Revolution and played important role in the progress of both US and China. Xinhai Revolution was the joint efforts of Chinese from all over the world. Now the celebration of Xinhai Revolution once again unites Chinese around the world. Let’s work together for the development of our community, the development of the city, a better relationship between US and China and the development of both US and China.

2011年10月8日的在芝加哥南华埠成功举办的“大芝加哥地区华侨华人纪念辛亥革命100周年游行”，规模盛大，内容丰富，吸引了华人社区和主流社会的积极参与，得到各界的一致好评。感谢各协会和商家提供花车，感谢各位共同主席的热心赞助，感谢各协会组织游行队伍，感谢各学生会的义务工作，感谢媒体的宣传报道，我们还要特别感谢中国驻芝加哥总领馆的大力支持和华埠特别活动委员会的辛勤工作。
辛亥革命开启了中国进步的大门。芝加哥华人不仅大力支持辛亥革命，还对美国和中国的发展做出了杰出的贡献。辛亥革命是全球华人共同努力的结果，纪念辛亥革命把全球华人凝聚在一起。让我们共同努力，为促进社区的发展，为促进社会的发展，为推动中美友谊和促进中美两国的发展做出更大的贡献。
