Xilin NS Chinese School

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Xilin North Shore Chinese School, it is my pleasure to inform you that Mr. Zhang Shi has accepted the Principal position to continue to service our school for the next two years.

As many of you may remember, the board awarded a one year contract to Mr. Zhang Shi to serve the school in the role of the Interim Principal last year, to ensure a smooth transition from the previous school executive team. This year, the board has reviewed the performance of Mr. Zhang and his executive team, and we think they did a great job running the school operation smoohtly, and organized the school events very well. The board has decided to award Mr. Zhang the Principal position, with a two year contract term according to the school by law, and he has accepted it.

We want to thank Mr. Zhang Shi and his team for their dedication to the school, and we are looking forward to work with them in the up coming school year.

Dear Xilin North Shore Chinese School community,

Thank you all for attending the Board of Directors candidate introduction meeting last Sunday. Since we have only two candidates to fill up two opening seats, the BOD has concluded that there is not need to conduct an election.

Please join me to congratulate the new Board of Directors: Mary Chen and Jenny Wong and also thank them for their willingness to serve. The BOD will soon meet to elect the chairman of the board for 2010-2011.
